Selective Paste Intrusion

Scawo3D has developed advanced 3D concrete printing techniques they call Selective Past Intrusion (SPI). With Skeno's design, they fabricated this showcase to demonstrate its capabilities. The method introduces a novel inkjet printhead capable of precisely depositing cement paste within a bed of loose aggregate.
Paired with computational design tools like Spherene for Rhino/Grasshopper, this technique allowing for intricate geometries and optimized structural performance that was previously unattainable.
