Description
Description
The Markforged Onyx Pro is a professional-grade desktop 3D printer engineered for high-strength manufacturing. Leveraging patents in Continuous Fiber Reinforcement (CFR™), it enables the printing of fiberglass-reinforced composite parts that are up to ten times stronger than ABS plastic.
Built on a rugged unibody aluminum chassis, the Onyx Pro ensures precision, heat stability, and long-term reliability. It features dual extrusion: one nozzle deposits thermoplastic material like Onyx, while the second lays continuous fiberglass reinforcement into the part.
The print bed offers kinematic coupling with high repeatability (flat within 160 µm), allowing for consistent re-engagement after removal. The printer integrates seamlessly with Markforged’s cloud-based Eiger software for slicing, materials management, and printer control, and supports both Wi-Fi and no-Wi-Fi configurations to meet diverse operational environments.
Ideal for demanding applications—tooling, functional prototypes, jigs, and fixtures—the Onyx Pro delivers industrial-strength components from a compact desktop footprint.
