Description

The BigRep ALTRA 280 is a high-temperature, large-format industrial FFF 3D printer engineered for demanding applications—from aerospace-grade parts to full-scale tooling and functional prototypes. Its spacious 280 L build volume, enclosed and uniformly heated chamber, and heated vacuum print bed support advanced polymers including PEEK, PEKK, ULTEM 9085, and reinforced composites. With up to four DSX extruders (including backups), it ensures uninterrupted operation up to 20 kg per cycle. Automation features like auto-calibration, preheating, and remote HD monitoring simplify 24/7 production workflows. Its open-material platform allows use of both BigRep’s industrial filaments and third-party feedstock, making it a flexible powerhouse for precision, strength, and scale.
