Pros:

• Very Fast (16min for a Benchy)

• Very fast also means it would shake more than some printers

• Unknown how good support is
• Proprietary nozzles - they are made with hardened steel so one would not need to replace very often but you can only get them from Bambu Labs

Description

The Bambu Lab X1 Carbon (X1C) is a high-performance desktop 3D printer designed for both professionals and enthusiasts. It features a CoreXY motion system capable of accelerating up to 20 m/s², enabling print speeds up to 500 mm/s. The printer offers a build volume of 256 x 256 x 256 mm³ within a sturdy steel chassis and aluminum and glass shell. Equipped with an all-metal hotend that heats up to 300°C and a hardened steel nozzle, the X1C supports a wide range of filaments, including PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, ASA, PA, PC, and carbon or glass fiber-reinforced polymers. Advanced features include dual auto bed leveling, a 7 μm lidar sensor for precise calibration, and an optional Automatic Material System (AMS) for multi-color and multi-material printing. The printer is controlled via a 5-inch touchscreen and offers connectivity through Wi-Fi and Bambu-Bus. Its compact dimensions are 389 x 389 x 457 mm³, and it weighs approximately 14.13 kg.

The X1 Carbon is equipped with extra cooling and a hardened nozzle and drive gear, unlocking a wider selection of materials, including PA, PC, PET, and TPU, and specializes in carbon fiber and glass fiber reinforced polymers.
