Obsidian Sync Methods

Options for Syncing Obsidian vaults

• iCloud Drive - The best solution I've found. It's not perfect but still the best.
• Obsidian Sync - their paid version. Might be better but I'm not going to pay to find out.
• iCloud Drive docker - (I have not tested)
• NextCloud - a self-hosted file storage service (like your own Google Drive). Sync Obsidian with NextCloud
• Syncthing - a program that can be used to sync files between devices. Not very reliable - its not very automatic so you end up with files not being synced if you don't make sure syncing happens before loading Obsidian.
• FreeFileSync - can sync a Google Drive folder with the iCloud Drive folder (I have not tested)
